Pup care is my passion and my heart. Although I grew up with pups, it was not until I was an adult that I discovered my calling – to live a life surrounded by pups! I am a proud Puppy Foster and pawrent of 3 rescue pups: Jake, Riley and Carson. I am PetSaver Certified (PetTech Inc.) in Pet CPR, First Aid and Care and have completed the Dog Guru’s Knowing Dogs 101 and 201 programs. I began my career in the pet care industry over 10 years ago with in-home pet care and was blessed to have the opportunity to spend several years as the Volunteer Coordinator and then Operations Officer of a large Dog Rescue before changing careers and entering the dog daycare industry full time in 2019. Years ago, doggy daycare allowed me the ability to keep my soulmate pup Jake by providing a safe space for him to stay and play while I was busy at work, and it is a privilege to have the opportunity to pay it forward!
Working with pups is what I was born to do. I have been fostering since I was old enough to hold a leash. I have a Veterinary Assistant Certification from Penn Foster. I’m trained in and have completed Dog Guru’s 101 & 201. I’m also Pet CPR Certified. Although my love for pups reaches every breed, my specialty are Retriever breeds. I have been a Pet Care Specialist for 10 years managing and training other Pet Care Specialists in multiple dog daycare and boarding facilities. My husband, Zac and I have 1 two-legged kiddo (Noah) and two four-legged kiddos (Tessie, the Shorkie and Olive, the Golden Retriever). My favorite part of my work is providing quality and honest feedback to pawrents and helping enrich the overall experience each pup has while they are at their home away from home – Puppy Play and Stay!
Hello pup lovers! I have grown up loving pups and animals my entire life. I was in the 4H horse project for almost all of my teenage years with my late horse, Soleil. I have had several pets in my life but for right now I own a sassy cat named Lionell. My fiancé and I plan to surround ourselves with many Dachshunds and Huskies once we are ready, my obsession with Dachshunds is out of control. I have also worked in two other boarding facilities for pups, was a dog walker for almost two years and still provide pup overnight care for family, friends and a part time job. I have gone through pet CPR training, watched Language of Dogs videos, completed the Dog Guru’s Knowing Dogs 101 & 201 program and plan to continue my knowledge of pups in any way I can! Working with pups is a true passion of mine and I very much look forward to meeting yours!
Hi! My name is Meghan and I am a pup enthusiast from Prior Lake, MN. I am the Community Outreach Manager and Guest Service Associate here at Puppy Play and Stay. I have never lived in a home without at least one animal around. I currently have one pup at home named Bailey and cat named Miss Chievous (Missy for short). Bailey is a 3-year-old Golden Retriever and Missy is a 7-year-old Siamese Maine Coon mix. My fiancé and I are currently looking for another pup to bring into our family. Growing up with the love of pups only made sense that I build my career around them. I have completed extensive research in dog language and behavior through The Dog Guru’s; completing Knowing Dogs 101 and 201. I love working with Puppy Play and Stay because I get the best of both worlds. I get to work alongside with the pups and Pup Pros while also working directly with the community. I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s) soon!
