How Can I Tell If My Dog Likes Daycare?
Most of the time, our dogs make it clear to us when they enjoy their daycare program. Here are some ways to tell…
- They start wagging their tail or running to the door at the mention of going to daycare.
- When you arrive at daycare, they are excited and eager to get out of the car and into daycare.
- When you pick them up, their body language can tell you a lot as well! If they’re happy, they will appear to have a relaxed face and body. Don’t worry if they seem tired, daycare is full of activity that wears our pups out!
- Talking to the Puppy Play and Stay staff will also give you a lot of insight into how well your pup is adjusting to daycare. Ask about their typical behaviors, including if they actively look for other pups to play with, or do they keep to themselves? The staff at Puppy Play and Stay are well-versed in dog body language and will be able to communicate with you if daycare is (or isn’t) a good fit for your pup!

Webcams
Here at Puppy Play and Stay, we have a live webcam feed that our pet parents can access. These can be wonderful for helping to identify what your pup is like while at daycare and if they are enjoying themselves!
